Role Overview

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our elite team taking care of inpatient Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Neurology, and Neuro Acute Care (NACU) patients. In this role, you'll lead the care for surgical and medical oncology patients, working hand-in-hand with a stellar healthcare team. As part of a team of over 900 APPs at MSK, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families, all while advancing your career in a supportive and innovative environment.

Key Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited PA program
• NCCPA certification and BLS Certification
• Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
• 2 years of inpatient experience in Neurosurgery, Neurology, Medicine or Critical Care is strongly preferred
  
  

OR

• Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations
• Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
• Related National NP certification and BLS certification
• 2 years of inpatient experience in Neurosurgery, Neurology, Medicine or Critical Care is strongly preferred

Additional Information

• Location: 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY
• Hours:13.5-hour shifts, This is a night position, 5:30p-7:00a, with weekend and holiday rotation required. (12 shifts every 4 weeks)
• Pay Range: $155,500 - $197,400/annually
