Position Description

We are seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Florida, starting Oct 6, 2025. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 8AM to 5PM, and requires care for patients of all ages. Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics is required, and candidates must be able to work during the holiday season.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients from newborns to seniors
- Serve a patient population with a lower volume of pediatric cases
- Perform routine and acute care visits during standard daytime hours
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Adhere to all relevant protocols and compliance standards

Additional Information
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Physician Assistant preferred
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics is required
- Must hold current Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
- Florida license required
- Must be willing to work during the holiday season, except for specified closures (Nov 27, Nov 28, Dec 25, and Jan 1)
