Position Description

The preeminent orthopedic practice in Steamboat Springs, CO is seeking an experienced orthopedic physician assistant to join their team. Join a practice of 10 orthopedic surgeons and 12 advanced practice providers who provide elite orthopedic care and get to enjoy life on the slopes in their time off.

The practice was recently named as the official medical provider of the US Ski and Snowboard Teams.

Due to new expansion, they have needs in hand/upper extremity to help them better meet patient demand. Prior orthopedic experience is required and hand and upper extremity experience is preferred.

The Position:

Current needs are for their hand upper/extremity team

50% in clinic | 50% first assist in surgery

Provides patient pre-op and post-op education.

Writes prescriptions per protocol under physician supervision.

Assists in surgery

Full benefit package including a $5,000 sign-on bonus
