Board Certified - OB/GYN

Job Details:
• Locum tenens OB/GYN providing call coverage - ASAP as needed
• Call ratio of 1:6 with 4 physicians in the practice
• Manage low risk pregnancies (history of twins, toxemia, pyelonephritis, etc.)
• Handle high risk pregnancies (with toxemia, diabetes, class II or higher cardiacs, chronic lung problems, chronic renal disease, etc.)
• Perform routine deliveries including vaginal and low forceps
• Decision-making for C-sections
• Manage complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech, multiple births, and abruptions
• Perform VBACs and repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
• Provide surgical gynecology services including open procedures
• Perform laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures including tubal ligation, LOAs, and chromal tubation
• Handle operative/major procedures including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOAs
• Weekend coverage required
• Must maintain active Pennsylvania medical license with BLS and ACLS certifications
• Board certification required

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
