This medical center is a Level 1 trauma facility and comprehensive stroke center providing advanced neurocritical care services to the community. The facility features complete on-site laboratory and imaging services with a typical Level 1 trauma setup to support complex neurological cases.

Locum Tenens - Critical Care Neurology

Job Details:
• Hospital-based practice covering vacancy in neurocritical care position
• Coverage starting late October/early November through February/March 2026
• Manage adult patient population with approximately 40% trauma cases
• Average census in Neuro ICU is 10 patients with approximately 5 neurosurgery consults per night
• 100% inpatient work with no call schedule requirements
• Work alongside 2 neuro intensivists who will be available by phone during night shifts
• Collaborate with 3 Advanced Practice Providers in the group
• Document using Epic EMR system
• Comprehensive stroke center designation with Level 1 trauma capabilities
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90-120 days
• Standard economy travel arrangements with lodging up to $150/night

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
