Title: Family Nurse Practitioner

Location: Newark, NJ (Onsite)

Employment Type: Full Time, Hours 08:00am-06:00pm, 4 days/week

Compensation

Salary Range: $130,000-$135,000 Per Year

FNP Description

Conduct comprehensive wellness exams and assessments.
Educate patients and families on health programs and benefits.
Document medical history, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
Coordinate care with primary providers and specialists.
Prescribe medications and order necessary tests.
Participate in integrated care team meetings.
Facilitate preventive care and diagnostic testing scheduling.

FNP Responsibilities

Conduct assessments and wellness exams.
Counsel and educate patients and families.
Document medical information accurately.
Coordinate patient care with various providers.
Prescribe medications and order tests.
Participate in care team meetings.
Facilitate preventive monitoring and testing.

FNP Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license.
Current and unrestricted DEA certificate.
Ability to work autonomously without direct supervision.
Proficiency with medical instruments and equipment.
Knowledge of data management programs and medical records systems.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Understanding of federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
1 or more years of NP experience preferred.
Experience in Managed Care/IPA/Health Plan preferred.
