Title - Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) - Big Bear, CA

Summary

Full-scope CNM opportunity providing women's health care from adolescence through menopause, with a focus on family-centered, community-based maternity services. Flexible schedule with strong benefits, signing bonus, relocation assistance, and loan forgiveness options.

Role Overview

• Provide comprehensive women's health care, including preventive care, family planning, and prenatal/postpartum services.
• Manage low-risk pregnancies and deliveries independently.
• Collaborate with OB/GYN and MFM specialists for high-risk pregnancies.
• Offer contraception counseling (including LARC).
• Attend births in clinic, hospital (with admitting privileges), or home settings.
• Deliver culturally sensitive care in a rural community.
  
  

Qualifications

• Active CNM certification and California license (or eligibility).
• Open to new grads with RN experience.
• Experience in full-scope midwifery preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required.
  
  

Work Arrangement & Compensation

• Schedule: 3x10h shifts or 4x8h shifts per week.
• On-call: Sole midwife on call; anticipated 4-5 births per month.
• Patient load: 20-30 patients per 10-hour clinic day; 1-2 clinic days per week.
• Position: Full-time (1 opening).
