Position Description

Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) - El Paso, TX (New Graduates Accepted)

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift details -

Core Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Urgent Care Rotation

Weekdays: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Weekends: Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Total Hours: 40 hours per week, including participation in urgent care shifts on a rotating basis with other providers

Job Summary & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including physical examinations and health screenings
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma
  • Prescribe appropriate medications and develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs
  • Perform minor in-office procedures and provide wound care as necessary
  • Administer immunizations and deliver routine care for both pediatric and adult patients
  • Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions using the EMR system
  • Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and adherence to treatment plans
  • Support and participate in specialized clinic programs including weight management, hormone therapy, and Suboxone treatment (training provided if needed)
  • Provide care through scheduled nursing home visits and house calls, included within the standard 40-hour workweek

Education, Licensure, And Experience

  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Texas
  • Ability to work independently and manage a patient caseload within two weeks of onboarding
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience is preferred, but motivated new graduates will be considered
  • No additional certifications required beyond active state licensure
