Job Details:
• Locum Tenens position covering shifts from January through 2026 and potentially ongoing
• Guaranteed 8 hours per day with specific shift schedules to be determined
• Surgery and Trauma Department has APP coverage from 7am-5pm seven days a week
• Split shift on Fridays to provide outpatient coverage in general surgery clinic from 9am-12pm
• Surgical assisting experience preferred
• Handle approximately 8-16 patient encounters per shift
• Active CA license and CA DEA are required
• Must meet credentialing requirements with typical timeline of 90-120 days
• Must have 2 years of current Hospital clinical activity in the specialty
• Gaps greater than 3 months in practice history must be explained
• Current case logs required for presentation for surgical specialties
• Required certifications include ACLS, ATLS, and BLS
• Travel reimbursement includes airport parking at provider's departing airport, pre-approved rental car insurance, and ride share/taxi from destination airport to lodging and hospital/clinic

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
