This established hematology/oncology practice operates across multiple locations in eastern Connecticut, including offices in Waterford, Norwich, and Plainfield. The facility provides comprehensive cancer care and hematological services with on-site infusion centers to serve the local community.

Opportunity:
Medical Oncologist - Hematology/Oncology

Job Details:
• Manage existing patient base for a provider on FMLA leave
• Focus on GI/GU oncology preferred, but generalists will be considered
• Provide benign hematology services
• Perform bone marrow biopsies in-office
• Primarily outpatient care with potential for inpatient component for the right candidate
• Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (negotiable based on provider availability)
• On-call responsibilities include every 3rd weekend and one day per week
• Minimum assignment of 3 months with possibility of extension
• Must have active Connecticut medical license
• Multiple practice locations in Waterford, Norwich, and Plainfield

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
