Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in San Antonio, TX for a Clinical Nurse Practitioner Specialist in Rheumatology. The Clinical Nurse Practitioner Specialist will be responsible for managing patient care, conducting assessments, diagnosing and developing treatment plans, and providing follow-up care. Daily tasks will also include patient education, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, and staying up-to-date with the latest rheumatology research and treatment protocols.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Experience in rheumatology care and patient education
• Proficiency in patient management and follow-up care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with the latest rheumatology research and treatment protocols
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and certification in Rheumatology or relevant specialty
• Experience in an outpatient clinical setting is a plus
