Position Description

Deep Centered Psychiatry is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our private outpatient psychiatric practice in Texas. This position will conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults and/or adolescents under supervision.

Aligned with the largest and only American Psychological Association accredited private therapy practice in Texas with over 200 therapists, we offer a unique opportunity to care for the underserved population in our great state.   • Have autonomy and control of your schedule and treatment approach.
  • Can focus on either adult and/or adolescent patient populations as you prefer.
  • Can develop your psychotherapy/counseling skills through our numerous training and consultation opportunities.
  • Will take the time you need with your patients to focus on quality of care.
  • Easily refer in-house and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team of 200 (and growing) therapists in Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and DFW.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management in-person and/or via telehealth on an outpatient basis.

- Deliver best-in-class care with an unwavering commitment to ethical and evidence-based practices.

- Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure policies and procedures support quality patient care and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

- Licensed to practice in the state of Texas with an unencumbered DEA number.

- Minimum 2 years of experience in conducting psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults and/or adolescents.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Demonstrated commitment to ethical and evidence-based practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
