The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to women throughout their reproductive health journey, including prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care. This role requires a strong commitment to patient advocacy and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

- Flexible schedule. Weekend coverage. Saturday and Sunday shifts available

Responsibilities
- Perform rounding in the hospital to provide care for patients post-delivery and post-surgery
- Monitor patients during prenatal visits, labor, and delivery.
- Provide education and support to patients regarding pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum recovery.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist in various procedures including catheter care and ventilation management.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in developing individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in utilization review processes to ensure quality of care standards are met.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Labor and Delivery Nurse
- Minimum of two years as a Nurse Practitioner in inpatient setting
- California Nurse Practitioner license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Experience or knowledge in critical care settings such as PICU or acute pain management.
- Strong communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Compassionate approach towards patient care with an emphasis on empathy and support.
