Position Description
Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in hospital-based cardiovascular care? Our progressive cardiology group in Van Nuys, California, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our inpatient rounding team. We are committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to hospitalized patients with complex cardiac conditions.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide inpatient cardiology consultations and daily rounding on hospitalized patients.
- Collaborate closely with attending cardiologists, hospitalists, and nursing staff.
- Evaluate and manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions in a hospital setting.
- Review diagnostics, labs, EKGs, and imaging to support timely clinical decision-making.
- Coordinate patient care plans and facilitate safe discharges or transfers.
- Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in the hospital EMR system.

Qualifications:
- Current NP or PA license in the state of California.
- Relevant experience: cardiology, internal medicine, nephrology.
- Proficiency in hospital workflows, EMR systems, and multidisciplinary communication.
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage a full patient panel.
- ACLS certification required.
- Comfortable working independently with cardiologist backup as needed.
