$50,000 Sign-On Bonus with a 3 year commitment!
Responsibilities
We are looking for 3 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNP's) to cover our Level I Newborn Nursery at TMC Rincon. In Arizona, NP's and practice independently; however, they will receive support from neonatologists or pediatricians. The responsibilities for this role include:

Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION: Master’s degree in Nursing or related area, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years of related experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: National certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or must be National Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner eligible, must become credentialed at TMC through the Professional Staffing Office prior to appointment. Must have and maintain a current Arizona state license as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner including prescriptive authority. Must obtain and maintain a current Federal Drug Enforcement Agency License for prescribing controlled substances. Additional certifications may be required based on delineation of privileges as outlined by Medical Staff.

Responsibilities
We are looking for 3 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNP's) to cover our Level I Newborn Nursery at TMC Rincon. In Arizona, NP's and practice independently; however, they will receive support from neonatologists or pediatricians. The responsibilities for this role include:
- Examining and managing the care of newborns, facilitating the transition to the primary care provider (PCP), and potentially making a follow-up hone call to parents 24 hours after discharge as a bridge to the PCP appointment if necessary.
- Attending all high-risk deliveries and stabilizing sick infants for transport to TMC's larger facility where there is a Level III+ NICU
- Being available for clinical questions from labor, delivery, recovery and post partum (LDRP) staff throughout the day.

- Knowledge of regulations and policies as it relates to patient evaluation, care and information.
- Skill in evaluating comprehensive health assessments and evaluating results to ensure the most appropriate treatment option.
- Skill in providing the best practice patient care.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, correspondence, and procedure protocols.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries or complaints from patients and/or their representatives, and the general public.
- Ability to work with concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions, and to apply mathematical operations to solve or analyze job-related situations.
- Ability to identify positive or negative variances from expected outcomes.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
