OB/Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner – Specialized Referral Clinic

Position Highlights

• Full-time | Direct Hire
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Setting: Specialized Referral Clinic (SRC) – collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
• Work closely with OB/GYN physicians, nurses, and support staff
• Provide expedited, comprehensive care for obstetric and gynecologic patients

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients, providing advanced nursing care
• Diagnose conditions and prescribe therapeutic interventions (in collaboration with a physician)
• Manage a variety of women’s health concerns, including:
• Hyperemesis gravidarum
• Iron deficiency
• Post-gynecologic surgical concerns
• Vaginal bleeding
• Postpartum blood pressure monitoring
• Stable pregnancies of unknown location
• Bartholin/labial cyst abscess treatment
• STI/UTI evaluation and treatment
• IUD complications
• Emergency contraception & post-exposure testing/prophylaxis
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and therapeutic environment for all patients

Education Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) – required

Preferred Experience

• 2+ years as a Nurse Practitioner
• 1+ year in a clinical specialty practice (OB/GYN strongly preferred)
• 1+ year in emergency department or outpatient/ambulatory practice
• Prior experience with EPIC EMR

Licenses & Certifications

• CRNP – PA Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (required)
• BLS – Basic Life Support (required)
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (required)
• Prescriptive Authority – preferred
