NP/PA Hospitalist Opportunity in Nags Head, NC
The Outer Banks Health Medical Group, in partnership with ECU Health Physicians, are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their expanding hospitalist service located in Nags Head, NC. The Outer Banks Medical Group is an established multi-specialty group that has a passion for high quality patient care. Applicants with two years of in-patient provider experience are preferred.

Job Highlights

The Outer Banks Health Hospital is a full-service critical access hospital offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services. The hospital is designed to meet the needs of the coastal community, whose year-round population of approximately 35,000 swells to about 350,000 in the summer season. The hospital's 21-bed emergency department serves approximately 23,100 patients each year.

- Schedule: Sunday-Thursday (5days/wk.), 1pm-9pm
- Clinical responsibilities will include admissions, medical management, co-management of emergency department transfer holds, post-operative medical care, and discharge planning.
- Specialist support includes general surgery, OBGYN, orthopedic and general surgery, cardiology, oncology, radiology, anesthesia, pulmonology, and rehab
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required
