We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about integrative mental health care, skilled in both medication management and psychotherapy, and either experienced in or open to training with Ketamine (Spravato®) treatment protocols.

Role Description

This is a part-time position that we hope grows into a full. It is an on-site role for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) at Prevail. Located in Bee Cave, TX. The PMHNP will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions. The role emphasizes a balance of medication management, therapy, and specialized services such as ketamine (Spravato®) treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and ongoing medication management for children, adolescents, and adults.
• Offer individual and/or family therapy as part of a holistic treatment approach.
• Administer and monitor Ketamine (Spravato®) treatment, or complete training to become credentialed in this area.
• Collaborate with therapists, counselors, and support staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Document services and maintain compliance with ethical and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Current Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in [State].
• DEA registration with prescriptive authority.
• Experience in psychiatric medication management.
• Training or willingness to train in Ketamine/Spravato® administration.
• Strong clinical skills in psychotherapy and patient-centered care.
