PRN Nurse Practitioner (Psychiatric)

Brevard, Fletcher, and Mills River, NC

Pyramid Healthcare at Tapestry is seeking a compassionate and skilled PRN Nurse Practitioner with psychiatric experience to join our team serving the Brevard, Fletcher, and Mills River areas. This role plays a vital part in delivering high-quality, person-centered mental health care that supports our clients’ well-being and long-term recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated treatment
• Provide education and supportive counseling to patients and families
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  
  

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of North Carolina
• Prior experience in psychiatric or mental health settings
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
• Flexibility and reliability to work on a PRN (as needed) basis
