Urgent Care Physician Assistant Locums - Connecticut, PRN Coverage

PRN urgent care shifts available through March 2026 in Connecticut; no call, outpatient only.

Highlights

• No call, shifts only
• Runs November 2025 to March 2026
• Weekend coverage prioritized, weekdays available

Practice Setting

• Outpatient urgent care clinics across Hartford and nearby counties
• May split days between two close locations
• Treat all ages, including pediatrics

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts: 7a-7p
• Flexible PRN blocks with no long-term commitment
• Must be open to last-minute schedule adjustments

Cases and Procedures

• Bread-and-butter urgent care
• Suturing, wound care, incision and drainage
• Splinting, basic labs, EKGs, X-rays
• No inpatient or hospital coverage

Requirements

• PA or NP with active Connecticut license
• BLS and DEA required
• Urgent care experience with all ages

Travel Accommodations

• Lodging, rental car, and mileage reimbursed
• Airfare not included; local or regional travelers preferred
