Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Family Medicine

Job Details:
• Full-time (1.0 FTE) position in Family Medicine with coverage in the Walk-In Care setting as needed • Provide care for patients of all ages (newborn to elderly) in a full scope practice • See approximately 14-20 patients per day • Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills • Work independently while collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals • Focus on health promotion and disease prevention • May provide outreach to Walker and Menahga Clinics to assist with coverage needs on occasion • Experience in weight management preferred • Requires high customer service skills to establish positive relationships with patients and colleagues • Must have Master's or Doctorate degree in Nurse Practitioner program or Bachelor's/Master's degree in Physician Assistant program from an accredited institution • Current licensure as a registered nurse (for NPs) or physician assistant in appropriate state • Current certification in CPR and national certification in applicable area • Successful completion of credentialing process prior to practice
