Facility:
This facility features a state-of-the-art Endoscopy suite with innovative programs designed to enhance patient access and treatment options. The gastroenterology department continuously incorporates new programs to improve GI treatment options, including various clinic-based procedures such as esophageal manometry and liver fibroscans.

Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Gastroenterology

Job Details:
• Full-time opportunity (0.8-1.0 FTE) with consistent Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm clinic schedule • Work in a collaborative environment alongside 2 Physicians and 5 Advanced Practice Clinicians • Engage with 7-12 outpatients per day, providing consults and follow-ups in the clinic • Provide occasional inpatient call coverage for consults and follow-ups (Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm) • Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills to deliver comprehensive care • Focus on health promotion and disease prevention for patients age 18 to elderly • Treat both acute and chronic GI conditions affecting the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, liver, pancreas, and colon • Previous gastroenterology experience/knowledge required • Must have Master's or Doctorate degree in Nurse Practitioner program or Bachelor's/Master's degree in Physician Assistant program • Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state (if NP) • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in appropriate state • Current certification in CPR • Must complete credentialing process prior to practice

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
