Facility:
This facility is part of Essentia Health's expanding orthopedic department in Fargo. The orthopedic team consists of 4 surgeons, 1 orthopedic medicine physician, and 6 Advanced Practice Providers, supported by skilled athletic trainers, cast technicians, and comprehensive nursing staff.

Opportunity:
NP/PA - Orthopedic Surgery

Job Details:
• Full-time position (1.0 FTE) with variable schedule including 0-2 OR days and 3-5 clinic days per week • Schedule known approximately 60 days in advance • Flexible scheduling options available, including 4x10-hour shifts or 4x9-hour shifts with one 4-hour day • Support multiple surgical team members during add-on surgery days • Potential to be paired with an incoming surgeon to assist on their designated OR days • Clinic volumes vary based on experience and comfort level • Anticipated outreach to satellite hospitals/clinics • Responsibilities include patient care coordination, OR assistance, inpatient rounding, and walk-in clinic support • Preference for candidates with Orthopedic Surgery background or experience • Utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills • Works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals • Provides health care to individuals and families with emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention • Requires high level of customer service skills • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nurse Practitioner or Bachelor's/Master's degree in Physician Assistant from an accredited program • Current licensure as required for position (RN license for NPs) • Current certification in CPR and national certification in applicable area • Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
