NP/PA - Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Job Details:
• 1.0 FTE (Full Time Position) in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation • Approximately 50% Clinic with procedures, 50% Hospital-based consult service • Monday - Friday schedule, 8am - 5pm with no holidays and no call requirements • Work with an engaged, close-knit team comprised of 5 Adult PM&R Physicians, 2 Pediatric PM&R Physicians, 3 RNs, 3 CMAs • Collaborate with other disciplines such as Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and Rehab Psychology • Perform sterile procedures, including intrathecal baclofen pump refills and programming as core job duties • Provide healthcare services to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention • Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills • Work both independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals • Position requires high level of customer service skills • Inpatient rehabilitation and hospital patient flow experience preferred • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing or Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program required • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Minnesota required • National certification in applicable area and current CPR certification required • Successful completion of credentialing process prior to practice required • Department will provide additional specialty-specific training for the right candidate
