This facility operates a growing Walk-In Clinic in Park Rapids and an Urgent Care center in Detroit Lakes, providing essential healthcare services to the community. Both locations are well-staffed with a collaborative team of physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and support staff focused on delivering high-quality acute care in a fast-paced environment.
Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Walk-In Care
Job Details:
• 0.6 Flex FTE position in Walk-In Clinic/Urgent Care settings • Typical schedule will vary and may include 8-11 hour days at Park Rapids Walk-In Clinic and Detroit Lakes Urgent Care • Park Rapids Walk-In Clinic hours: 8:00 am - 6:30 pm M-F, Saturday 8:00 am - 12:00 pm with occasional holiday hours • Detroit Lakes Urgent Care hours: 8:00 am - 7:30 pm M-F, 8:00 am - 3:30 pm Sat & Sun • Both locations typically staffed with 2 providers and 2 nurses per shift, averaging 18-24 patients per shift • Experience in Walk-in, Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine is a plus • Utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills • Works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals • Provides health care to individuals and families of all ages, from newborn to elderly • Emphasizes health promotion and disease prevention • Requires high level of customer service skills to establish positive relationships • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nurse Practitioner or Bachelor's/Master's degree in Physician Assistant required • Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state (for NP) • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in appropriate state • Current certification in CPR and National certification in applicable area • Successful completion of credentialing process prior to practice
