Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – Telehealth (Permanent Hire)

Location: Indiana (Remote – Telehealth)

Compensation: $145,000 – $165,000 annually (based on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join a growing telehealth behavioral health practice in Indiana. This is a permanent hire role offering stability, competitive salary, and the ability to deliver quality care remotely.

You will provide comprehensive psychiatric care—including evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning—through a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.

Key Details

• Patient Population: Geriatrics (65+);

• Caseload: ~8–12 visits/day, depending on case mix and schedule

• Support Team: Therapists, LCSWs, and care coordinators to assist with integrated care

• Technology/EHR: Web-based tele platform with eRx; training provided

• Credentialing: Must be credentialed with Humana (requirement for paneling and reimbursement)

Requirements

• Licensure: Active PMHNP-BC + Indiana license (multi-state a plus)

• Insurance Credentialing: Must be credentialed with Humana (required)

• Experience: 2+ years of psychiatric practice post-certification; prior telehealth experience preferred

• Certifications: Active DEA license with prescribing authority; e-prescribing capability

• Work Setup: Reliable internet and private, professional workspace for telehealth

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and establish treatment plans

• Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care

• Collaborate with therapists, LCSWs, and other care providers for integrated treatment

• Document timely and accurately in the EHR

• Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment as needed

• Must already be credentialed with Humana (non-negotiable)

• Strong communication skills with patients via video visits

• Organized, detail-oriented, and outcome-focused

• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a remote care team
