• Highlights for this Locum assignment: Be part of a Level 3 NICU team with an amazing reputation
• Weekend coverage- Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights 8pm - 8am
• 13 weeks – open to NP working 3 weekends/ off 1 week or splitting the time with another provider

Details:

Facility details: Level 3 NICU, amount of beds taken is consistently at 30-32.

Hours: 12 hr. shifts- guaranteed hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 8pm- 8am, NO call, OT after 12 hr. shift but do not expect OT with this; OT at 1.5 times pay rate

Support Team: 2 NNP’s on staff in the evening and have 1 Neonatologist available but not in-house but available.

Cases: NICU infants include babies born before 32 weeks of gestation; premature infants can have respiratory distress needing breathing assistance, such as ventilators. Will provide care to infants needing surgery for various medical or congenital conditions, or infants needing comprehensive life support and advanced treatments. Must have at least worked in a level 3 NICU- okay if level 4 and stepping down to work in a Level 3.

Experience level: Would prefer at least 2-3 years of experience.

EMR: Meditech

Orientation: will be provided on day 1; work closely with team of NNP’s and Neonatologists

Requirements: NNP (Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner) and CNP certified Nurse Practitioner, RN active license in SD or compact state license

Certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS, PALS

Reimbursement:

Pay: $110/hr.

All travel expenses reimbursed/ lodging/ mileage and/or flights.
