NURSE PRACTITIONER

Job Summary

MedEvals LLC is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our mission in serving veterans by performing health evaluations for conditions or injuries incurred during their service, as well as annual readiness physicals for reservists. In this unique position, you’ll assess a broader range of conditions than in a typical practice, making it a rewarding role for those eager to expand their clinical expertise.

This position focuses on health evaluations only—no treatment, prescription, or ongoing care is involved. It is a part-time or full-time role with workdays from Monday through Friday, part-time position may be an option with a minimum of 3 days a week. The salary range quoted is for 40-hours per week. The range is reduced for part-time positions. New graduates are encouraged to apply, and comprehensive training is provided.

  • Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough health evaluations for veterans, assessing various health conditions and service-related injuries
  • Perform readiness physicals for reservists, ensuring compliance with health standards
  • Document evaluations in a detailed, clear, and accurate manner
  • Work collaboratively with other medical and administrative staff to ensure efficient evaluation processes
  • Apply broad clinical knowledge and strong assessment skills in every evaluation

  • Passion for serving the military population and supporting veterans' health needs
  • Proficiency in assessment and physical examination skills
  • Reliable, flexible, and positive with a strong desire to learn
  • Proficient typing and computer skills, including vigilant email management
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, with the ability to compassionately explain medical conditions
  • Team-oriented personality, maintaining calm and composure in challenging situations

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Board Certification (required)
  • Active NP License in Colorado (required)
  • Must have graduated with NP from an Accredited University within the US.
