A specialty practice in New Jersey is actively seeking a self-motivated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join their Pediatric Neurology staff primarily in New Jersey with flexibility to travel to the Westchester and Manhattan offices a few times per month.

About the Opportunity

• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5pm
• Call: optional call with differential
• Specialty: Pediatric Neurology/Epilepsy
• Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient

Responsibilities

• Perform complete history and physical examinations on patients within the outpatient clinic and the medical centers
• Clearly discriminate between abnormal and normal findings when evaluating the history, physical examination, and laboratory tests
• Identify patient problems and develop further treatment plans and modalities in concert with the supervising physician
• Make complete entries in the EMR utilizing evidence-based practice

Qualifications

• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply!
• Active New Jersey State Family Nurse Practitioner license
• DEA
• CDS
• Computer literacy and familiarity with EMR charting
