Maximus Federal is seeking an Advanced Practical Nurse (APRN) with experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology to become a Medical Reviewer to conduct medical judgment appeals.

Peer Review for Quality Management may only be used to improve the quality of healthcare or utilization of healthcare resources in VA medical facilities. Its primary focus is whether the clinical decisions and actions of a clinician during a specific clinical encounter met the standard of care.

Key Requirements:

• Licensed: Advanced Practical Nurse (APRN) for more than 3 years.
• Experience: Must have experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Direct Patient Care: Must be actively engaged in providing direct patient care for more than 20 hours a month
• Work Arrangement: This is a 1099 (at-will) role for both parties.
