The Department of Psychiatry has an exciting opportunity for one full-time, licensed Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Psychiatry team.
The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Missouri is dedicated to the treatment of patients, education of learners and research into mental illness. The department provides a full array of services including inpatient care at the University of Missouri Psychiatric Hospital (MUPC), 24/7 emergency and hospital consultative services and outpatient adult and child clinics.

This position will hold a title of Nurse Practitioner Specialty Care II. Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
Shift
Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Minimum Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing degree.
Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.
Must be granted a “Document of Recognition” from the Missouri Board of Nursing.
Preferred Qualifications
AP/MHNP, F/MHNP, CAQ-Psychiatry, PA-C, strong background in mental/behavioral health.
At Least 2 years prescribing experience or a completion of a Psychiatry PA/NP Fellowship is preferred
CAQ/ANCC Certified
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $99,174.40 - $161,720.00 annually
Grade: PAT - 013
University Title: NURSE PRACTITIONER - SPECIALTY CARE II
