Good Samaritan is seeking an Experienced Advanced Practice Provider with the ability to independently screen, diagnose, treat, manage disease, prescribe medications, educate patients, and coordinate referrals in a Convenient Care setting during the higher volume months who will rotate to  Knox County, Indiana, Primary Care offices, working with multiple physicians and APPs, during the lower volume months.  

Highlights:

• 0.9 Full Time FTE (working primarily 12-hour weekday shifts and 1 in 4 weekends)
• Clinic hours are Monday – Friday 8am-8pm; Saturday & Sunday 11am-5pm
• Clinic closed New Year’s, Thanksgiving & Christmas with reduced hours on: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Christmas Eve, New Years Eve

Requirements:

•  Healthcare experience in ER, urgent care, ICU or family practice preferred
• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner program, be Board Certified and able to obtain Indiana and DEA licenses
• Flexible with excellent communication skills
• Ideal candidate will have minimum 1-year Advanced Practice Provider experience
• Strong comfort level with all ages including pediatrics is required
• Desire and ability to work as an independent provider in a fast-paced environment utilizing high-level critical thinking skills
• EPIC experience a plus
