Position Description

A Massachusetts-based health services network is actively seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Primary Care team in Berkshire County.

About the Opportunity

  • Shift: Days
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday or potential for 4-day work week. 36 hours Clinical and 4 hours admin
  • Hours: TBD
  • Setting: Outpatient
  • Patient Volume: 2 to 3 per hour
  • Call Schedule: 1-2x a month

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results
  • Maintain complete and accurate medical records
  • Provide quality clinical diagnostic skills in the delivery of patient care
  • Review all test results and recommend suitable management for the patient, including but not limited to, preventive health recommendations and habits
  • Prescribe medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans
  • Collect and record patient information, such as medical histories, reports and examination results
  • Maintain complete and accurate medical records
  • Participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of Primary Care experience
  • MA Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
  • ACLS and BLS certifications
  • DEA registration

Desired Skills:

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • Demonstrate competency in diagnosis and treatment to assure high standards of patient care and safety
