A state hospital in Georgia is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for locum tenens coverage supporting adults with serious mental illness (SMI). This flexible role is ideal for providers passionate about psychiatric care who want to balance purpose-driven work with flexible scheduling.

Role Highlights:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up care for adult patients
• Manage treatment plans for mood, psychotic, and intellectual/developmental disorders
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers
• Enjoy autonomy with a flexible 2–3 day weekly schedule (weekend coverage optional)

✅ Qualifications:

• Active Georgia APRN license + prescriptive authority
• PMHNP certification strongly preferred
• 1+ year of inpatient or mental health experience
• Strong communication and documentation skills
