Position Description
Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages. What you’ll do
- Provide high-quality patient care through thorough assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care strategies.
- Conduct physical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests to inform patient care decisions.
- Administer medications, injections, and treatments as needed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and advance medical knowledge.
- Engage in telehealth consultations to expand access to care for patients.
Basic qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license with certification from an accredited program.
- Current Licenses for prescribing, controlled substance and DEA
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- New graduates FNP considered
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
- Proficiency in CPT coding and ICD-10 coding for accurate billing processes.
- Background in critical care or emergency medicine, with exposure to acute pain management and triage protocols.
- Familiarity with specialized treatments including botulinum toxin administration, dermal fillers, and esthetic laser treatments.
- Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities.
