About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to perform Compensation and Pension (C&P) Examinations for Veterans and separating military members. This is a highly rewarding, investigative (non-treatment) role where you apply your clinical expertise to make a direct impact on disability award determinations. You will be based at a fixed, embedded clinic location.

What You Will Do:

• Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough physical evaluations, obtain in-depth health histories, and perform focused examinations (DBQs or SHA exams).
• Medical Chart Review: Perform a complete review of medical records using a cloud-based EHR to identify service-connected health issues.
• Diagnose & Document: Diagnose and provide medical opinion decisions based on examinations and record review.
• Efficiency: Manage 4–6 Veterans per day, ensuring charts are submitted promptly via an online portal.

Qualifications:

• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Idaho.
• Strong attention to detail and proficiency in charting/documentation.

Pay & Benefits:

• Weekly Pay: Competitive pay rate, paid out weekly.
• Full Benefits: This is a W2 position with fully paid benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, etc.) available after just 30 days of employment.

Schedule & Start Date:

• Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. (3-4 days a week)
• Flexibility: You may have the option to complete charting/administrative work remotely at home after all Veteran exams are completed for the day.
• Start Date: (4-6 week credentialing period required prior to start).
