A healthcare facility in Central New York is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their growing Emergency Department. This is a long-term travel opportunity offering flexible scheduling and a supportive team environment.

About the Opportunity:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment Length: minimum of 6 months
• Shifts: Days or Nights
• Schedule: 7 shift per month
• Hours: 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am
• Setting: Emergency Department
• Patient Volume: 35 patients per day

Responsibilities:

• Providing direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting
• Conducting assessments, ordering diagnostic tests, and determining treatment plans
• Collaborating with Attending Physicians and Nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Managing and documenting all patient interactions accurately within the EMR
• Maintaining compliance with facility and state healthcare regulations
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's and Master's Degrees
• Active NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
• ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certification
• Active DEA registration
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills

Desired Skills:

• 2+ years of Emergency Medicine experience
• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine
