We are seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for a 51-day locum tenens assignment in Maryland, starting Dec 22, 2025. This non-surgical, post-operative role offers full-time or part-time night coverage with 13-hour shifts from 7pm to 8am. The PA will provide advanced post-op care to CT surgery patients, performing procedures such as A-Lines, Swan-Ganz catheterization, chest tube insertion and removal, and pacer wire removal within an ICU. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with CVOR APPs and intensivist co-managers, managing a caseload of 4-12 patients per shift, with a maximum of 4 ICU-level patients. Apply now!
