Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) – Hospitalist & Oncology Team

Location: Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania

Schedule: Full-Time

Penn Medicine’s Division of Hospitalist Medicine, in collaboration with Oncology, is seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join a dynamic inpatient team managing complex medical and solid oncology patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient care for medical and oncology patients, including those with complications from chemotherapy and advanced disease
• Collaborate with hospitalists, oncologists, and palliative care specialists to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.
• Support two specialized clinical services.
• Symptom Management Clinic (on-site)– same-day infusion care for symptom relief.
• Medicine Consult Service (on-site) – consultative support for behavioral health units at HUP Cedar Campus.
• Perform histories, physical exams, procedures, and prescribe treatments in accordance with collaborative agreements and state regulations.
• Contribute to research and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
