Cardiothoracic Surgery First Assist, Louisiana - PA Locums Opportunity

Support a high-volume CTS team in Metairie with full-time weekday blocks, transplant exposure, and 1:3 call rotation.

Highlights

• 2 positions available; help establish a true 1:3 call model

Practice Setting

• Inpatient and OR focus; no clinic duties
• Full-spectrum cardiothoracic surgery including transplant
• Vein harvesting required
• High-functioning surgical and support team

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-3:30 pm
• 1:3 call; every third day and weekend
• Long-term, open-ended assignment
• Full-time or part-time availability welcomed

Cases and Procedures

• Adult CT surgery; vein harvesting and transplants
• Robust case volume across multiple surgeons

Requirements

• Board Certified Physician Assistant
• Active Louisiana license required
• Vein harvesting experience a must
