HealthCare Recruiters International (HCRI) is hiring a Nurse Practitioner, FNP, or AGNP or a Physician Assistant, PA-C to join an established and growing organization that provides comprehensive orthopedic, minimally invasive surgery, chiropractic, and interventional pain services to adults who have suffered injuries from work related accidents or automobile injuries.

The NP, PA-C plays a dynamic role in providing assessments, referral, and post-surgical care through a trauma informed lens.

• Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8 AM – 5 PM Tuesday: 10 AM – 6 PM
• Work primarily on-site, with one day every other week tele-medicine
• Work at one outpatient clinic per day
• NP rotates across 3 outpatient locations: Melbourne, Cocoa, and Palm Bay
• Melbourne is the primary clinic

Nurse Practitioner (APRN), Physician Assistant (PA-C) Scope of Practice Responsibilities:

• NP sees 12-16 patients per day
• NP provides new patient evaluations (scheduled patients)
• Order diagnostic testing x-ray, MRI, CT scan
• NP provides testing results
• Refer to Spine Surgeon, PT, Interventional Pain, or Chiropractic services
• NP provides trigger point injections, if desired
• Provide post-surgical suture removal or wound evaluation
• NP will be the sole provider on-site with 1-2 MAs support

Nurse Practitioner (APRN), Physician Assistant (PA-C) Training:

• Receive customized new employee orientation 4-6 weeks
• Receive post Masters training on image interpretation (although Radiology still interprets each case for support)
• Receive training on trigger point injections, if desired
• Receive specialized one week training per year with Spine Surgeon

Nurse Practitioner (APRN), Physician Assistant (PA-C) Requirements:

• Master’s Degree
• DEA Eligibility
• FL State Licensure
• On-site work: Melbourne, FL 32901
• Trauma Informed Healthcare

Nurse Practitioner (APRN), Physician Assistant (PA-C) Compensation:

• 125K – 145K + DEO
• Relocation Assistance Available to Melbourne, FL
