A respected behavioral health organization in Georgia is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join its outpatient mental health team. This on-site role offers the chance to provide meaningful psychiatric care within a collaborative environment that includes psychiatrists, therapists, nurses, and care coordinators.

You’ll support adult patients with a variety of mental health needs, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and medication management. This clinic values patient relationships, longer visit times, and consistent follow-up. Providers who appreciate structured workflows and strong team support excel in this setting. Newer NPs with strong mental health training are encouraged to apply.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing mental health assessments
• Provide medication management and follow-up visits
• Create and adjust treatment plans
• Coordinate care with therapists and supervising psychiatrists
• Document all encounters in the EMR
• Manage a moderate caseload supported by MAs and nursing staff

Qualifications

• Active Georgia APRN license
• PMHNP preferred; experienced FNP/AGNP with behavioral health background may be considered
• DEA with prescriptive authority
• Experience in psychiatry or strong psych clinical rotations
• Strong communication and patient-centered care skills

Compensation & Perks
