Physician Assistant (PA) - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:
• PRN coverage needed for specific dates from December 2025 through May 2026 • Function as sole provider covering both Emergency Department and Med/Surg units • Work alongside a team of 2 physicians and 1 advanced practice provider • Supported by nursing staff (1 provider, 2 RNs) and ancillary staff (1 Paramedic, occasional CNAs and NPNs) • Manage emergency care, inpatient services, and skilled care procedures • Access to 2 exam rooms per provider with medical imaging capabilities • Average ER volume of 3.6 patients daily • Average Med/Surg census of 1.4 patients daily • EPIC EMR system utilized throughout the facility • Temporary privileges available (Emergency Privileges not an option) • Must be Board Certified with active Iowa license • DEA and CSR credentials required • Flight reimbursement available with $750 round trip cap • Lodging reimbursement at 1.5x the GSA rate cap average • Rental car reimbursement at $55/day cap • Mileage reimbursement at IRS Standard Rate
