Position Description

We are seeking an experienced Anesthesiology Physician Assistant for a 36-day locum tenens assignment at a hospital-based surgery center in Idaho. This opportunity begins on Jan 5, 2026, with day shifts scheduled Monday to Wednesday, and occasional availability needed on Thursdays. The ideal candidate will have a current Idaho license and DEA.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide anesthesia support for a range of general cases including endoscopy, orthopedics, dental, and ophthalmology
- Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative care as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital protocols
- Adhere to all relevant regulations and best practices in anesthesiology

Additional Information
- Idaho license and Idaho DEA required
- National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) required
