A leading multispecialty medical group in the Atlanta Metro area is expanding its inpatient and step-down service team and hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner. This role offers a great balance of autonomy, collaboration, and growth for new or experienced nurse practitioners who thrive in an acute care environment.

You’ll provide hospital-based support for adult patients—conducting assessments, managing common acute conditions, performing follow-ups, and coordinating care with the supervising physician team. New graduates with strong acute care clinical rotations are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct acute and follow-up assessments for hospitalized adult patients.
• Manage chronic conditions and handle moderate acuity cases during admissions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging.
• Support rounding, step-down care, and transitional planning.
• Document accurately in EMR and follow established clinical pathways.
• Collaborate with attending physicians, RNs, and care coordinators to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia APRN license (AGACNP or FNP).
• 1+ year of acute care experience OR strong clinical rotations in hospital settings.
• Excellent communication and patient management skills.
• Team-oriented approach with confidence in moderate-acuity decision-making.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $130,000–$165,000 annually
• Bonus: RVU-based productivity bonus
• Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts | Flexible full-time (no nights)
