PMHNP | 16 Hours/Month | Outpatient | On-site

Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient team at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Kansas. This position offers 16 hours per month, ideal for a provider looking for a low-commitment, high-impact role in a community-focused setting. Strong preference for a bi-lingual Spanish speaking provider.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide psychiatric assessment services including diagnosis, treatment, and medication management
• Work closely with primary care providers
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic, patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards
• Schedule: 8 hours every other week (flexible weekday scheduling)
• Setting: Outpatient only – no weekends, no holidays, no on-call
• Patient Population: All ages – pediatrics through geriatrics
• Location: Kansas-based FQHC focused on accessible, comprehensive care

Qualifications:

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state of Kansas
• Experience in outpatient, primary care, or community health preferred
• Comfortable seeing patients across the lifespan
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
