Position Overview:

NorTek Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a well-established family practice and urgent care facility in Jacksonville, NC. As part of our team, you will provide primary and urgent care services to patients of all ages in an outpatient setting, working collaboratively with physicians and healthcare professionals. Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, plus every other Saturday.

8-hour shifts: Day shift (8 AM – 5 PM) and rotating evening shift (10 AM – 7 PM).

Outpatient care setting with a structured 40-hour workweek.

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality care to patients of all ages in a family practice and urgent care setting.

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Conduct physical exams, diagnose illnesses, and manage both acute and chronic conditions.

Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and lab results.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Perform routine procedures such as vaccinations, wound care, and wellness screenings.

Educate patients and families on medications, lifestyle changes, and preventive health practices.

Maintain accurate documentation of patient records and progress in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Requirements:

Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license.

Ability to reliably commute or relocate to Jacksonville, NC before starting.

Commitment to a 40-hour workweek.

Experience in primary care or urgent care preferred.

Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and patient rapport-building.
