Position Overview

NorTek Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join this expanding home-health primary care team. Providers currently conduct in-home visits five days per week, with an upcoming transition to a hybrid model (3 days in-home / 2 days telemedicine) as the practice continues to grow.

This is a full-time, day-shift role serving patients across South Austin through Bastrop, ideal for a provider who is confident in autonomous clinical decision-making and comfortable traveling between patient homes.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver evidence-based primary and geriatric care directly in patients’ homes

Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

Manage chronic conditions and acute concerns for an elderly population

Coordinate care with collaborating physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams

Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation

Build meaningful patient–provider relationships with elderly patients and their families

Qualifications

Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in Texas (required)

Experience in primary care, internal medicine, or geriatric care preferred

Open to strong new providers with a genuine interest in home-based primary care

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-engagement skills

Ability to travel throughout the Austin–Bastrop region

Self-directed and comfortable practicing independently in a home-based care model

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $120,000 – $145,000 (commensurate with experience)

Schedule: Full-time, day shift (home visits with future hybrid telemedicine schedule)
