This is a Level II Trauma Center providing comprehensive emergency and critical care services to the Northern California region. The facility features state-of-the-art technology and equipment, with a dedicated Neurosurgery/Trauma ICU specializing in brain, neck, and spine surgeries.

Nurse Practitioner - Critical Care

Job Details:
• Provide Neurosurgery/Trauma ICU management for emergency surgery patients with brain, neck, and spine conditions • Work 10-hour day shifts (7am-5pm), no call required • Manage 15-20 patients on service per day • Utilize Cerner Care B electronic medical record system • Perform low/moderate risk procedures including laceration repair, IV access/insertion-peripheral line, and fracture/dislocation reductions • Conduct high-risk procedures including G-tube placement, endotracheal intubation, cardioversion/defibrillation, LMA, paracentesis, chest tubes, and central/arterial line placement • Must have neuro-trauma and/or neuro-critical care background/experience • Requires current ANCC/AANP certification, state license, ACLS certification, and DEA • Substantial experience in neurosurgery and/or neurocritical care required • Clean malpractice record required • Credentialing timeframe is 30-60 days from receipt of fully completed application • Coverage needed for multiple dates between January and June, with ongoing coverage starting June 29

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
