TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Board-Certified MD, PA, or NP to provide Emergency Department coverage at a community hospital in Ahoskie, North Carolina. This short-term locum opportunity offers a collaborative and well-supported environment with full specialty backup and advanced transport support for patients.

Orientation: Required the day before the first scheduled shift
Setting: 15-bed Emergency Department within a 114-bed community hospital
Average Daily Volume: ~65 patients per day
Technology: Epic EMR

Responsibilities
Provide direct emergency and acute care services to patients of all ages
Manage admissions, stabilization, and coordination of care for critical cases
Collaborate with nursing staff and hospital specialists to ensure timely patient transfers
Utilize ECU Health Air and Ground Support as needed for emergency transports

Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Medicine or Acute Care experience required
Licensure: Active North Carolina medical license (MD, PA, or NP)
Certification: Board Certified; BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA required)
Orientation: Must be available for pre-shift orientation
Skills: Ability to work independently and manage diverse patient cases in a community hospital setting
